Professional Standards. Real Accountability.
Topcor Risk Services is a South African firearm training and risk services company based in Bramley, Johannesburg, serving private clients, security professionals and corporate organisations.
Who we are
Topcor Risk Services was built around a simple idea: firearm ownership and security work in South Africa demand competence, not confidence. Too many people are handed a certificate without ever being properly trained, and too many licence applications fail on avoidable paperwork errors.
We deliver structured firearm training across handgun, shotgun and rifle disciplines, plus the legislation knowledge every licence holder must have. Beyond the range, we assist clients with licensing applications, Regulation 21 motivations and renewals, and we support businesses with risk assessments and tailored security solutions.
Our instructors and consultants work with private individuals, dedicated sport shooters and hunters, security companies and corporate clients — and every one of them is held to the same standard.
Our mission
To equip individuals and businesses with the training, licensing support and security guidance they need to protect themselves lawfully, competently and responsibly.
Our vision
To be the most trusted firearm training and risk services provider in Gauteng — recognised for professionalism, integrity and uncompromising safety standards.
Commitment to safety
Safety is never a formality. Every course begins with a full briefing, every range session is supervised, and no shortcut is ever taken with firearm handling.
Trust and compliance
We operate strictly within the Firearms Control Act and give honest advice — even when the honest answer is that an application will not succeed as it stands.
How we hold the line on quality
Standards are not a marketing line — they are the reason our clients pass, stay safe and stay compliant.
Small groups
Limited class sizes so every student receives individual instruction and range time.
Assessed properly
Theory and practical assessments are conducted honestly against national unit standards.
Documented
Training records, results and submissions are correctly documented and traceable.
